How It Works

From submission to participation

Registration follows submission and acceptance — a simple four-step path.

Submit Your Abstract

Send your abstract, short bio, and keywords to cfp@cemist.eu by 15 September 2026. See Call for Papers for full guidelines.

Receive Notification

Notifications of acceptance are sent by 30 October 2026. Accepted authors will receive registration instructions and payment details directly.

Complete Registration & Payment

Following acceptance, complete the registration form and process the participation fee through the provided channel. Payment deadline will be specified in your acceptance letter.

Attend the Conference

Receive your Zoom access details and final programme one week before the conference. Join us online from 21–23 January 2027.

Full Conference Access

Live attendance to all keynotes, panels, paper sessions, and the Early Career Forum across the three conference days. Multi-track sessions allow you to follow your research interests.

Session Recordings

Access to recorded keynote sessions and panels for a limited period after the conference, allowing you to revisit content and engage with sessions you could not attend live.

Conference Materials

Digital programme, abstract booklet, and curated resources distributed to all registered participants. All materials are provided in PDF format for offline reference.

Certificate of Participation

Official certificate issued by the organizing institutions, recognized for academic and professional development purposes. Certificates are issued digitally after the conference concludes.

Networking Opportunities

Q&A sessions, dedicated discussion rooms, and opportunities to connect with scholars from across Europe, Africa, Asia, and beyond. The online format facilitates global participation without geographical barriers.

Publication Consideration

Selected contributions will be considered for publication in an edited volume with an international academic publisher or in a peer-reviewed academic journal. Authors retain their rights and copyright throughout the process.

Common questions about registration

When does registration open? +

Registration opens after notification of acceptance, expected by 30 October 2026. Accepted authors will receive a personal email with registration instructions and payment details.

Can I register without submitting an abstract? +

TREDT 2027 is primarily a research-presenting conference. Listener-only registration policies will be announced closer to the conference date. If you wish to attend without presenting, please contact cfp@cemist.eu for current availability.

How do I qualify for the reduced rate? +

The reduced rate of €100 is available to:

  • PhD candidates currently enrolled in a doctoral programme
  • Master's students presenting in the Early Career Forum
  • Bachelor's-level students with accepted contributions

Proof of current student status may be requested before processing your registration.

How can I apply for a fee waiver? +

Send a brief email to cfp@cemist.eu explaining your situation and how a waiver would enable your participation. Waivers are limited and decided by the organizing committee on a case-by-case basis.

We particularly welcome applications from scholars in regions facing economic constraints and from emerging researchers without institutional funding.

Are there discounts for multiple authors or panels? +

What is the refund and cancellation policy? +

Will the conference issue an invoice for institutional payment? +

Yes. Upon registration, an official invoice can be issued to your institution for processing. Please indicate the billing details (institutional name, address, VAT number if applicable) in your registration form.

Can I attend in person, or is it strictly online? +

TREDT 2027 is a fully online conference, held via Zoom. There is no in-person component. This format ensures broad international accessibility and reduces participation costs and environmental impact.
